Travel Update: Danube and Rhine River Water Levels

The nature of rivers is to ebb and flow, and this season, lower than average water levels on portions of the Rhine and Danube Rivers have impacted select Avalon Waterways sailings.
We are contacting all affected guests and their Travel Agents, and we are offering each guest a choice of options, including moving to an alternate Avalon cruise, applying the value of their cruise to a Globus or Cosmos tour, or receiving a full refund. Guests have until December 1, 2026, to make their decision. We know a change like this is disappointing, and we want to give our guests time to consider their options rather than rushing them.
Avalon Waterways has a long history of making every effort to keep cruise itineraries intact. When Mother Nature makes other plans, our priority is taking care of our guests and helping them navigate their next steps.
