Europe Travel Update
As airlines resume flights to Europe, the Globus family of brands continues to operate our European tours, cruises and packages, and are encouraging our customers to resume travel. We continue to recommend that customers contact their airline directly or visit their website, as they will have the most up-to-date information on operation of flights and schedules.
If your flights have NOT BEEN cancelled by your airline, your Globus family of brands vacation will be operating, so proceed with your travel plans as scheduled.
If you are experiencing a flight delay (of 12 hours or more) or a cancellation of your flights, we have three options in place:
- Continue with your Globus family of brands travel plans on your new flight schedule.*
- We can move the dates of your original vacation to any scheduled 2010 departure date.**
- You can change your original vacation to any other Globus family of brands tour, cruise or package departing in 2010.***
As airlines are currently in operation, the Globus family of brands is currently recommending to proceed with your travel plans. We will assist at your destination in making arrangements to meet your tour/cruise/package.
For customers currently traveling in Europe who are experiencing a delay in homebound travel, the Globus family of brands is helping coordinate accommodations until homebound flights resume, but we continue to ask that customers check directly with their airline for the latest flight information, whether home or abroad.

*Travel on original or alternate tour. Passengers arriving for tours/cruises/packages will be accommodated on original or alternate tours at no additional costs. For situations where a client arrives after the scheduled start date, we will assist clients in meeting tour/cruise/package whenever possible. Any additional costs are at the client’s expense, although if you have purchased travel protection through the Globus family of brands, keep your related receipts and claim the costs of the accommodations when you return home.
**Re-book by Monday, May 17 to move the original departure date to a new 2010 date without penalty. Any price increases related to the new date are at the expense of the client. This includes increases to the tour/cruise/package price as well as airfare. For air-inclusive clients, the Globus family of brands will cover airline imposed change fees related to the revised travel date, excludes airfare increases as stated above. For land only clients, airline imposed change fees are at the expense of the client.
***Re-book by Monday, May 17 in order to apply value of the original tour/cruise/package to any other Globus family of brands cruise/tour/package departing in 2010. Any applicable air penalties will apply. And any price increases related to the new date are at the expense of the client. This includes increases to the tour/cruise/package price as well as airfare and airline-imposed change fees.
